The Struggle Continues........

when i posted my last update about the chronicles of a Nigerian hustler not many knew the motivation behind the post, am gonna let you know now, I had just received two regret mails in the space of 5 mins( for those of you that don’t know what that is, it goes like this, …..we regret to inform you that you were not successful in the ……...and would not be proceeding t the next stage ………..we wish you success in your future endevours).
While I was writing the last post I assumed that the hustling was limited to we the temporarily unemployed graduates in Nigeria, so you can imagine my facial expression when I went to Chams city(a place where computer based job exams are written)  at Ikeja and guess who was sitting across me writing the same exam , AJEBUTTER, yes that Ajebutter u know, and yeah I was also in doubt as you are, am quite a big fan of the “omo pastor” jam and I actually thought it was a big hit, but is the Nigerian economy that bad? We are talking of arguably one of the biggest tracks at about a year ago and the artist is currently looking for a job in a company which most people actually don’t view as a multinational company, what is actually wrong with the economy? I began to ask, what is all free downloads (like I wasn’t among them) and no

shows? But I do hope things get better for him either through music or he gets the job( cos he did seem like someone who really needed the job). As for me that exam would be the sixth job exam (yeah right, quite a lot for someone who just finished service about 6 weeks ago) three of which my faith has already been decided (not all at exam level tho) but with every regret mail that comes my way, the more optimistic I get about a better future, just like Brian Tracy said …Every experience in your life is being orchestrated to teach you something you need to know to move forward. All you need to make it is persistence. In other words, persistence is key for the achievement of the desired future.

I will leave you with the words of Calvin Coolidge

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan press on has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race......Calvin Coolidge
